Medical Aesthetic

Medical Peel is applied by the doctor after a prior consultation. Treatment duration may vary depending on the skin condition that needs to be treated. After a certain time of application, the peel might be neutralized, and soothing products are applied. You may feel a tingling or burning sensation during the procedure, but this usually subsides within a few minutes. Depending on the depth of the peel (superficial/ medium peel), you should experience mild redness, followed or not by scaling (exfoliation).

For optimal results, it is recommended to undergo a series of 4-6 sessions at 10 to 14 days interval, depending on the peel used and the recovery period. To sustain the results, the procedure can be repeated after a year.

Composition of the PRX-T33®:

The PRX-T33® is an improved formula of the trichloroacetic acid (TCA) peel. Due to its unique combination of 33% TCA, hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) and 5% kojic acid, PRX-T33® is not as “aggressive” as pure TCA.

Action of the main components of the PRX-T33® on the skin:

  • Trichloroacetic acid 33%: It stimulates the growth of fibroblasts in the skin, at the same time it has an anti-inflammatory effect, effectively cleans pores from accumulated cutaneous fat, debris of cosmetics and micro particles of dirt, destroys pathogenic bacteria that cause acne formation, and increases the elasticity of the dermis.
  • Hydrogen peroxide 3%: It has a strong antiseptic effect on the treated area of the skin. Upon contact with the epidermis, hydrogen peroxide promotes the release of a huge amount of oxygen, which mechanically cleans the skin surface from all types of contaminants. In addition, hydrogen peroxide fills skin cells with pure oxygen which increases the sensitivity of receptors.
  • Kojic acid: The main purpose of this component is to brighten the treated area of the face, by suppressing the production of melanin.

This type of peeling can solve many problems with the skin, but the key recommendations for the peeling are the following signs:

  • Acne – as an alternative to conventional cosmetic products for cleansing the facial skin (the skin becomes smoother, the process of removing black dots, pimples and purulent elements starts):
  • Loss of firmness of face and chest;
  • Post-inflammatory spots after acne
  • Atrophic scars;
  • Stretching of various depths;
  • Auxiliary agent in the treatment of melasma and skin hypopigmentation;
  • Seborrheic dermatitis
  • Hyperkeratosis of facial skin
  • Prevention and treatment of facial skin photoaging;

  • The procedure is painless;
  • Absence of rehabilitation period (on the skin there is no peeling, redness, edema);
  • Suitable for all types of skin;
  • There are no age restrictions
  • Available all year round (no need to wait for the cold season and reduced solar activity);
  • Pronounced bright effect after the first session, which persists for a long time
  • No photosensitivity after the procedure. In a couple of days you can safely sunbathe and not be afraid of age spots.

  • PRP plasma therapy
  • Dermapen Microneedling
  • Mesotherapy
  • PDO PCL COG Threads
  • Botox
  • HA Fillers

  • Pregnancy and lactation;
  • Allergy to its components;
  • Damage to the facial skin, fresh wounds, pustules;
  • Infectious and viral diseases, especially if accompanied with cutaneous manifestations (herpes, for example);
  • High sensitivity of the skin;

During the procedure, the patient may feel tingling or minor burning sensations that are easy to be tolerated – this is normal.
After the PRX-T33® procedure, a slight redness may occur. It passes off after a few minutes and does not require any rehabilitation procedures. The treatment is completed with the specialy formulated WIQO MOISTURIZING CREAM. This face cream intensively moisturizes and nourishes the skin after the PRX-T33®, preventing the development of side effects by increasing the barrier functions of the skin.

  • Tonification of the dermis deep layer (due to this the face oval will have a more precise contour);
  • Normalization of the sebaceous glands and significant reduction in pores (the gloss disappears, the cleansing dries out the facial skin);
  • There is an easy pull-up effect (lifting);
  • A significant reduction in all types of pigmentation and freckles;
  • Better tone and texture of the treated skin, giving and fresher look.

The therapy consists in injecting the skin (after a local application of anesthetic cream) with a very thin needle (32-34 G needle) of specific formulated medical cocktails accordingly to each case: vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and other active substances directly into the deeper layer of the skin where the small blood vessels are, the mesoderm. Mesotherapy provides intensive hydration and nutrition of the skin itself, and the ageing process is significantly slowed down, improving the nourishment and the look of skin.

The goal of mesotherapy in the skin rejuvenation process is to increase the activities of fibroblast, cells responsible for production of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid in the skin, and to apply full concentration of active substances necessary to regenerate healthy and youthful skin. With repeated procedures the depth of the wrinkles is reduced, the amount of collagen is increased and therefore the skin tone is improved.

Mesotherapy is performed on the face, neck, cleavage, hands or thighs. Another important indication for mesotherapy is reduction in cellulite with great results in combination with medical devices.

It takes from 3 to 4 mesotherapy treatments to see great result. The number of treatments is individual and depends on the age, treated region, and the habits of the patients (smoking, exposure to solar radiation). Mesotherapy can be an outstanding complement to other aesthetic procedures such as dermal fillers, Botox, chemical peels, threads lift, etc.

The therapy is a great solution for patients with problematic skin of all kinds, pigmentations, scars including acne scars, surgical scars and stretch marks.

Microneedling treatment consists in creating millions of fine, vertical micro-injuries in the skin with a multiple microneedles of a latest technology electronic device, which triggers new collagen and elastin formation as well as increasing the local blood flow and formation of new blood vessels (angiogenesis). These fractional micro-channels allow the special formulated medicine cocktails (hyaluronic acid, antioxidants, vitamins, amino acids, etc.) to go deep into the skin and to target certain problems. These channels. The goal of DERMAPEN microneedling in the skin rejuvenation process is to increase the activities of fibroblast, cells responsible for production of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid in the skin, and to apply full concentration of active substances necessary to regenerate healthy and youthful skin. With repeated procedures the depth of the wrinkles is reduced, the amount of collagen is increased and therefore the skin tone is improved. The result is skin rejuvenation result with smoother, firmer, tighter and younger looking skin.

The micro-injuries trigger a natural process of repair, increasing production of collagen and elastin and visibly improving a wide range of skin concerns:

  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Pigmentations (melasma, age spots)
  • Dry skin
  • Enlarged pores
  • Photoaging
  • Acne / acne scars
  • Post-surgical scars
  • Stretch marks

For optimal results, it is recommended to undergo a series of 3-4 sessions at 3 – 4 weeks interval, depending on the skin condition and the recovery period. To sustain the results, the procedure can be repeated after 6 months.

After treatment there is a mild/moderate redness on the treated area that subsides after 12-48 hours after treatment, but most of our patients are able to return to normal daily activities a few hours after the treatment. Application of skin repair/recovery creams immediately and couple of days after the therapy, seals and heals the skin. The use of sunscreen protection is mandatory.

After your treatment, you may notice some mild redness, discomfort and minor bruising at the site of injection, which is absolutely normal, and they depend on patient’s sensibility. However, there are no known side effects of PRP, which is very safe as it is performed using your own blood. Most of our patients are able to return to normal activities 24 hours after the treatment. Application of skin repair/recovery creams immediately and couple of days after the therapy, seals and heals the skin and promotes healing and protection. The use of sunscreen protection is mandatory. Vigurous exercise, sauna and the use of makeup for 24 hours are not recommended after this therapy.

In order to obtain maximum results, PRP treatments should be repeated in a series of 3-4 sessions in total, with an interval of 4-6 weeks in between treatments. The protocol then can be repeated annually to mentain results

BOTOX/ DYSPORT is used for the cosmetic treatment of frown area wrinkles, crow’s feet wrinkles, forehead horizontal lines and neck bands. BOTOX/ DYSPORT has also been used to treat migraine headaches, excessive perspiration disorders (hyperhidrosis) of the armpit and hands.

BOTOX/ DYSPORT injections are customized for every patient, depending on his or her particular needs.

Small bruises at the injection site could be possible, due to the patient sensibility. After BOTOX, we strongly advise our patients not to go to the gym, not to use sauna, or to have massages in the treated area for 48-72 hrs. For couple of hours right after the therapy, we recommend that patient should not lay down in order to prevent the product’s migration in unwanted muscles and to have undesired asymmetries.

BOTOX/ DYSPORT application effect last from four to six months, and after that the muscle completely recovers. In some rare cases, the effect lasts less, especially in patients that have thyroid hyperactivity, persons that exercise a lot, etc. Following that, the treatment can be repeated an unlimited number of times without any contraindications. Also, the treatments can be interrupted in any time without any fear that there will be any consequences on the face. Due to the possibly of developing resistance to the toxin, it is not recommended to repeat your injections in less than 3 months.
BOTOX/ DYSPORT cannot stop the process of aging. It can, however, temporarily diminish the look of wrinkles caused by contraction of certain muscle groups.

BOTOX/ DYSPORT injections may be performed as a singular procedure or as an adjunct to another aesthetic procedure (fillers, mesotherapy, etc.) except high intensity devices. The doctor will explain to you exactly what procedures could be combined depending on each individual case

Plasma Pen skin tightening results are impressive but should not be proposed as an alternative to surgery in cases of moderate to severe skin laxity. Only surgery can achieve corrections in these cases.
Results will typically be seen right after treatment along with cumulative improvements over the next three months. In some cases, it may require more than one session, depending on skin condition and the desired results.

Plasma Pen is mildly uncomfortable. Everyone’s pain level is different, and some areas of the body are more sensitive than others. Numbing cream is used to reduce the discomfort during the procedure.

This medical procedure is a safe procedure, but it is good to know that some side effects are expected:

  • Redness and swelling
  • Scabbing and crusting
  • Temporary skin discoloration
  • Relatively rare scarring

Patients with dark skin type are not suitable candidates for Plasma Pen procedure, due to the increased risk of post treatment pigmentation. CosmediCa Clinic is committed to safe and effective treatments for all. We don’t risk; therefore we do not provide this treatment on patients with Fitzpatrick skin types 4-6 (African, Latin, Indian, Middle Eastern, or people of mixed ethnicities with dark skin)

  • Average of 8 days downtime on the face and neck areas
  • Average of 10 to 14 days on the body, depending on the area being treated and the intensity of the treatment
  • Swelling begins the day following your treatment, and peaks around day 3.
  • After day 3, swelling subsides and the scabs form.
  • Scabs normally begin to fall off around day 6 or 7 (for face and neck)

The effect is permanent in people who do not gain weight again.

During the treatment bruises may occur and that’s why it is advised to stop taking substances that increase the risk of bruises, like Aspirin, Nurofen, Voltaren, Ginkgo Biloba, and Vitamin E. The occurrence of painful nodules is usually transient, and it is a consequence of an inflammatory process that develops when fat is dissolved. Three days after the treatment, massages and the usual exercises may begin. It is recommended to drink from 1.5 to 2 liters of fluids a day. For people allergic to soy and vitamin B, lipolysis treatments are not recommended.

Lipolysis treatment lasts from 20 to 30 minutes and enables the continuation of the usual daily activities right after the intervention.

The under-chin region is treated with 3 to 4 treatments, every 4 weeks, until the wanted effect is achieved. The process of fatty cells breakdown is slow and the lipolytic affects the skin in such a way that makes it firmer and doesn’t allow an excess of skin to appear after the fat loss. Depending on the amount of fatty tissue on the patient’s body, sometimes only one treatment could be enough.

To get platelet enriched plasma which will be applied into the scalp, a small amount of blood is taken from the patient. After the blood centrifuge, the separation produces platelet enriched plasma which will release growth factors and cytokines. Once separated, the blood plasma is injected with miniature needles numerous times into the scalp. This procedure stimulates the growth of hair follicles, creates new blood vessels and regenerates the scalp tissue. After the treatment there are no adverse reactions except mild redness which withdraws 24 hours after the intervention.

PRP therapy is used successfully in androgenic alopecia, alopecia areata and scarring alopecia of different causes, and in which the standard vitamins, corticosteroids and minoxidil therapy hasn’t provided the desired outcome. The best results are achieved in the initial stages of hair loss. Therapy activates hair follicles which go from the inactive stage to the active growth phase. PRP therapy is indicated in men who have hair loss in the frontal-temporal regions and in initial hair loss in the parietal part of the scalp. The therapy produces poorer results in later stages when hair loss encapsulates larger surface of the scalp which then connects with the hair loss in the frontal-temporal regions. The earlier the treatment is started the greater the likelihood of hair re-growth.

Positive results of the PRP for hair loss are achieved in over 80% of the cases. The hair becomes thicker, significant reduction pf hair loss is noticeable, and any further thinning process is stopped.

To achieve good results, sessions of 4-6 treatments need to be done in 1-2 month intervals.
